Can the IRS release them to Congress without consent?

That doesn't seem right.

WHY are the dems so hung up on this, anyway? It is not required for anyone running for elected office to release their tax returns. I cannot figure out why the dems don't know what the laws even are in this country.

No it is illegal to release anyone's tax returns. Although the FBI, CIA, DOJ all seem to have access.

That comment was meant to 'trigger' any left-over bho/hrc traitors within the agencies to go for it!

That's what I thought. Which is why they have not yet been released. Now, I'm not all that sure about his returns as POTUS... I remember seeing the returns of a few former presidents, but I don't know if that is just something that is done, or if they consented to those releases.

It doesn't take very much to trigger those few hangers-on lately!

that's a good question, Guiliani said that POTUS will fight against it...the Dems are so desperate.

Shouldn't take much to fight that off, though, considering the IRS can't release without consent!
