I've heard about it for years; this isn't the first time I've mentioned it. Thank his father and grandfather who got the f/u into Annapolis, and subsequently absolved him of his negligence(s) and treacher[ies]. I have a niece who went to Notre Dame on a full Navy scholarship, was harassed continuously by her cadet Co. Commander, filed a complaint and when it got to the board his Navy father (an Admiral) spoke up and asked: Now what's all this BS about my son? He too was exonerated and she lost her scholarship. I have great respect for Navy traditions, except for tail-hook and related dalliances. I have no doubt it continues to this day..
