How honorable could George be when he ran for the Repub. nomination for POTUS in '67, crashing out due to his quote on 'brainwashing', all the time knowing he was born in Mexico thus ineligible anyway?

Born to a polygamous Mormon group that moved to Mexico from Utah after the US government outlawed polygamy and threatened confiscation of Mormon church property if they didn’t comply, thereby forcing their active polygamy activities underground. George Romney’s parents were part of a group that fled to Mexico to continue this practice. They are still there to this day (Mormon polygamists).
This!!!! Yep! They refer to them as "the colonies" in polygon speak. Sick child bride marrying Western Hemisphere version of Muslims, their sister religion!

United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898) ... the meaning of "citizen" in the Fourteenth Amendment as well as the natural-born–citizenship requirement of Article II, and noted that any right to citizenship though jus sanguinis was available only by statute, and not through the Constitution. (commonly thought to allow George to serve, but never actually tested or upheld by SCOTUS.)
So...up for debate.

Where were his parents born? It only takes one for him to be a Citizen. I don't recall his "brainwashing" quote from '67. I missed out on the opportunity to keep up with the 3 News Channels while in Vietnam - A/C Com, UH1D. And, what do we know about MK-Ultra today that few of us knew in '67. It started in the '50's. Not a challenge, just questions.

George made the comment as to how and why he once supported the Vietnam conflict.

The brainwashing quote is in reference to his early support for the VN war. Said he was BW by the military to gain his support.
