Personally I'm fine with the removal of token shout outs to "God" to placate the faithful constituency. ANYTHING related to God in political discourse is watered down, detached from the fullness of revelation in his only begotten Son Christ the Lord, intended to score political points, and undoubtedly a stench in the presence of the true and living God. Satan would much rather prefer the religious verbiage to stay because it is used magically and manipulatively, to further the ambitions of ambitious persons, not to actually submit and honor the one true God and his only Son Jesus Christ.
Why the American right's obsession with seeing politicians saying and doing religious things? What does it actually accomplish?
