Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., suggested Sunday a compromise that “might save the day” in a partial government shutdown impasse, declaring “nothing will get out of the Senate” without funding for a wall and border security
In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Graham said there’s been “a bit” of movement in the shutdown stalemate.
"Nothing will get out of the Senate without wall/border funding and Democrats are not going to give us any money for a wall/border security without getting something themselves,” he said.
“Here’s what I think will work,” he said, describing outlines of a potential deal that would exchange funding for a border wall for protections of illegal immigrants, known as Dreamers, as well as for those who came to the country decades ago after disasters and war, “along with some legal changes to do away with some of these magnets to illegal immigration might save the day in the Senate.

I hope you are right but, I'm really skeptical. I think Graham is compromised. He refused to endorse Trump during the election (but supported him immediately after he won), he was a close friend of McCain and he's been in office since 2002. In 16 years not a peep about DS? I think Dems will give a drop in the bucket (100 mil?) to save face and get a bunch of concessions like 'dreamers' and an E-Z pass lane for caravans.
