Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., suggested Sunday a compromise that “might save the day” in a partial government shutdown impasse, declaring “nothing will get out of the Senate” without funding for a wall and border security
In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Graham said there’s been “a bit” of movement in the shutdown stalemate.
"Nothing will get out of the Senate without wall/border funding and Democrats are not going to give us any money for a wall/border security without getting something themselves,” he said.
“Here’s what I think will work,” he said, describing outlines of a potential deal that would exchange funding for a border wall for protections of illegal immigrants, known as Dreamers, as well as for those who came to the country decades ago after disasters and war, “along with some legal changes to do away with some of these magnets to illegal immigration might save the day in the Senate.

Fuck the “Dreamers” . They need to go back . If we decide we want Mexicans then we let in those who chose to do it right. No amnesty. Reagan gave up Amnesty for a wall and it never got built- it just flipped California and other states blue.. Fuck the Democrats- they owe us a wall.

I have seen the same thing. My wife is Venezuelean, immigrating legally. She has been to a local Latino help facility while trying to sell insurance. She was told by many there, they don’t want to buy life Insurance, they don’t plan on staying forever, they just want to make money to send home to have their adobes built, and then move back and live like the rich. They’re not the least bit interested in being Americans.

I did some work for the last US census in Texas during the last census. I observed that there were two types of Mexican immigrants. Those that were old school and have been here for several decades and the ones from 1990's to present as of last census. The ones that were old school respected the USA and considered themselves Americans and said so to me as I filled out the form. The newer ones did not call themselves Americans but called themselves by their country of orgin. They did not identify with the USA.

I feel that all the dreamers and people that are not legal US citizens will hold us hostage at the voting booths until all of their family is moved into the USA (forever). I do not see making them US citizens as a win win deal unless you are a Democrat. Build the wall and stop as much of the illegals crossing as possible. Look for tunnels and close them, it may not be 100% the answer but it is a good start. Chain Migration and Anchor babies must stop.

I don't know if young folks remember it but there was a term in my youth that would play quite well here.....Indian giver. Yeah it is not PC but it could work. I think today it is called small print. Much can be hidden in the small print.
[–] Stonenchizel [S] ago
@crazy_cajun Today the term " Indian Giver " isn't quite politically correct except for us that are old enough to actually remember a time when telling it like we saw it was considered a good trait to have. I get what your saying and fuck the youth if they don't understand that an Indian Giver is something you don't want to called or considered being one, because your word or actions are not trustworthy.

But it is something that could be pulled on the left as a means to an end.

I hear everyone's concerns about the Dereamers but I'd rather have those 1.8 million and barriers built so another 30 million don't come on in.

It is closer to 15 million.

I think dreamers should be sent back to their home countries so they can spread their 'better' ideas to their native population. We taught them, now go home and make it better there. You're welcome.
[–] Stonenchizel [S] 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
EXACTLY ! @CR3022 , I thought that was the whole idea about letting them study here in the first place was.... We could have sent them home when they were still young and uneducated .... But we allowed them to get an American education on the American Tax Payers Money too, just so they could go home and spread the educated way to live for their home country , Not to bring their whole family to the USA. ........What gives here ?
[–] CR302 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
A planned invasion of population replacement, it seems. Socialism and the destruction of the US.

What about the dreamers that are already in the country ? Young Americans ? What about the dreamers who are veterans... The dreamers who are homeless... They come first !!! Screw everybody else coming from other countries.
