What if the DS got to the judge? What kind of pressure could he be under and where is it coming from? Who benefits from buying more time by allowing this case to continue? Any ideas?

"What if the DS got to the judge?"

This clip references judge selection from 1993-1997 (Clinton years). But there is no proof the judge here was one of the ones involved; the fact that he would take any kind of stand challenging Mueller would lead one to suspect that he is not.

What if the judge is following the rule of law in dealing with someone who was an unregistered foreign agent?

Following the rule of law? Oh, yeah, it does apply when the defendant is a conservative. I forgot. So used to it being ignored in the case of everybody else.

That is not what he was charged with. Oh ... wait... until the day before his scheduled sentencing!

PS - you can go back to sleep now. LOL
