At least for/with Comey. He wanted full disclosure.
Light is a great sanitizer. If you don't want this (level of corruption) to ever happen again, it must be fully exposed and properly, radically dealt with. There is much to be said about public executions.
Comey didn't want full disclosure, he wanted to be asked for classified information in a public setting so he didn't have to answer the question. That's why Grassley offered to have it video taped and released to the public after the hearing, which Comey refused, thus showing the world that it wasn't the public exposure that he was concerned about.
Poor choice of words; he wanted full "transparency"; he said he wanted everybody to see his testimony. I was trying to make an obscure point about his getting way more "transparency" than he ever bargained for when truth is the revealed.

Yeah, my bad; poor choice of words; he wanted full "transparency" and hopefully will obtain way more "transparancy" than he ever bargained for.

Where did you get that from? Comey does not want full disclosure. That doesn't even make sense, of course he doesn't want full disclosure
