I still think POTUS is playing the same game as he did with Sessions in his tweets.... there’s something more at play though there are so many variables that speculation would be somewhat circular regardless of where that speculation starts...
$40 million so far? "Is that possible?" There is certainly no financial incentive for Mueller and the 13 Angry Demoncrats to wrap up the witch hunt. Is there no counterbalance? Seems like Special Counsel, with no checks or balances, an apparent free for all, circumvents basic but fundamental Constitutional protections of subjects, targets, and witnesses.
Has anyone formally challenged the constitutionality of the Special Counsel statute? As written and as implemented?

A whole lot of people are getting rich off the Mueller probe. As usual the Dems make graft off of everything government does.

I think it's happening already. He's planning his part in "Not Knowing".

Is he just toying with Mueller at this point? Daring him to find something and make a report.

Call me naive, but my bet is on Whitaker.
