Actually its only those who believe he is risen, and claim he is the son of god that are saved - because the wages of sin are death, and so to pay for that, an immortal death was necessary.. this is because God himself set the rules, when he said "the wages of sin is death".

Jesus Is risen from the dead. The verse I was referring to says,

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” found in Acts 16:31

You are correct, Jesus became the perfect sacrifice and bridge back to God once sin entered the world due to man's choice to listen to the deceiver.

God's son was sent because he was the only one without sin. He was proven to be God's son through the miracles he performed and demonstrating He was perfect.

Many who believe do not know all about Jesus when they first believe, but a true believer has a desire to learn more because God then dwells inside them. All believers keep learning as they seek with discernment.

Romans 10:9 does speak of what you say,

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

I feel those who truly believe in Jesus will be shown all who He is really is as the Son of God.

First step is to leave rebellion and doubt behind. Some are willing to do so, others prefer to go it on their own and listen to the deceiver telling them they either don't need God or they are like gods and can be in their own god. Much in the way satan tried to usurp God's authority. He encourages people to feed into that rebellion or even to trust in good works to save them.

I do get where you are coming from, part of what set him apart as God, is the fact he wasn't just any other man, but rose from the dead proving He is Lord.
