Thanks for the history. I wasn't online in the 80's or 90's
Sure Voat is a website. The www gives it away. I personally have no idea what to call these forums. I never used the chans or voat for anything other than reading. All I am saying is that people need to communicate on these subs and to the right of this comment right now is a section called Q boards. Since social media is ridiculous for any communication all I was saying was that these "websites" become powerful ways of passing information. But thanks for being a dick. Also, I have no idea what a 286 machine is. Maybe you're the one with mothballs.

So there is. IMO, it's an unfortunate (from the Qcumber perspective) homage to the "Qcumber = senile boomer" meme. And yes, I went "online" in the 80s, but the line was the ARPANET. The "internet" didn't exist.
I have no idea what a 286 machine is.
Reference is to the Intel 80286 - a 16-bit microprocessor - used in the early IBM PCs that used a Microsoft OS. Was a computer for the poor, and the cubical dwellers of the time.
But thanks for being a dick.
You're welcome. I've been "pwning noobs" since the ancient era. [checks pockets for mothballs]
