Quinceberry,

I was once shown that God blesses us for the purpose of enabling us to bless Him! This is one of God's greatest desires from us.

I love the book of James. There are so many hidden things he has revealed to us in it. James 3:9 talks about the tongue being used to both bless and curse. But the hidden treasure here is this fact: With the tongue we bless God. I know a lot of people might argue this point, but hey, it is just that puny enemy spirit resisting us in our maturing in Christ; and all of us must overcome that spirit every day!

It is my hope (and prayer) that as God blesses Potus and QTeam per your request, Potus and QTeam are blessing God in return! God GREATLY desires a VERY symbiotic relationship with us. He obtains this desire through Blessing and Sanctifying us and then causing us to bless and sanctify, too!

Our Blessing and Sanctifying is how we Labour to enter into His REST. Heb.4:11.

Enjoy!

What a beautiful message! I had never considered it quite that way before. The ripple effect and the ebb and flow of blessings in this way seem as natural as the movement of air or the cycle of water from cloud to rain to stream and back again. Thank you so much from me and on behalf of everyone who reads it.

Wow! Thank you, too! Your reply is to me (and hopefully to all else who will read), sweet light reminding us of just how great the witness of God in creation is that He has given us.

Paul tells us, [Rom.1:17] God's righteousness is revealed from faith to faith (my faith to your faith - and especially the faith of the Church: the Bride to the faith of Israel: her Groom - the remnant of all those who had walked in faith from the time of Abraham to John the revelator).

And, Paul continues saying, [1:18] God's wrath is revealed from heaven! (to/against the ungodly) So if His wrath is revealed from heaven, his blessing must also be revealed from heaven. That is, [1:19] what is known of God (both His wrath and His blessing) is manifest - in them (the wrath) and in us (the blessing).

How? As you have now wonderfully shown us and as Paul wrote, [1:20] For the invisible things from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made... (The things that are, as you wrote, the very ebbs and flows of the cycles of nature rippling through our very lives here in this shadow realm in which we now find ourselves... walking... back to where we came from.)
