Q mentioned this on the other site. A small fire was set on one side of the house, and while everyone was dealing with that, some special ops went into the other side of the house and took the server.
I think you may be right. There is always an investigation after a fire so that arson can be ruled out. The local LEO and fire inspectors have access until the investigation is over. That makes me think that the White Hats may have started the fire to take advantage of that law.

I believe there were 5. Apparently, HRC had a 2nd server in Chappaqua which the FBI was aware of and did nothing.
