My friend used to work in the Tegna building in Tyson’s corner. It’s extremely high tech with every amenity and service you can imagine. Nicest office I’ve ever been in. There’s a USA Today office there. The building has been under seemingly continual construction. There are two towers, one with the commercial tenants and one which has been enduring constant construction. This is the tower with the USA Today offices. My friends company was temporarily put into this tower while they built a permanent office in the other tower. For months, they had no internet, despite being told there were maintenance professionals working around the clock to figure out why they could not get a wireless signal to their office. Months went by! They never Fixed it. I find this so intriguing given the emptiness of the tower and the fact that USA Today was the only business in the tower, a company which would presumably need constant internet access.
An infinite supply of CIA black budget cash infusions can do that for a shell company. As for why it wasn't getting wireless signal...possible that they were spy-proofing the building for shady ops?
