Many times this is related to the network driver. In a lot of cases, Windows replaces known good mfg drivers with generic drivers that have spotty results. I would suggest going into your deice manager and updating the network drivers with the latest ones directly from the manufacturer.

You can look into a firmware update just in case your modem/router/Access Point has a buggy WPA2 implementation.
