If anyone doubts that this will work, or will make your computer unusable, you are incorrect. I've been using this since it's inception and have had zero issues with using my computer, not to mention peace of mind knowing that microsoft is not getting any of my information. My PC runs faster, is more stable, and has better connections. I could empirically prove this but I have yet to. +1 recommend.

Why change the NTP server? What do you think they do with our NTP data?

Hmm that was weird.... my reply showed up as a double post. I deleted one of them and both disappeared. Here's what I wrote:

Because that way it's one less thing that phones home to Microsoft. Maybe nothing, maybe they piggyback some sensitive data on the NTP requests, who knows. Better to use a reputable and independent time source imo.
