My 9100 (GalaxyS2) is still running strong thanks to custom OSs, as I expect my 9005/W8 (Note3) to last as long or longer. My old androids are great for ipcams or ftp servers, or more things I've not found a use for yet. Thinking of hardwiring a spare device into my car for all kinds of WiFi enabled things from my daily driver phone or nearby open networks. Ohh the things we can do.
