Good guy Cox. More ISPs need to stand up against bullshit practices and understand they can say "no".

The second largest share holder of twitter is from Saudi Arabia

Really? There should be a place you can check these influential companies/products and see who owns them.

They have their own problems like any ISP, but I really do like them. Service rarely goes down, and even though I'm not getting the speed I should be I am still hitting 90-100 mbps which is more than some ISPs will even offer.

I'm really surprised at internet speeds in the states. Over here I can have five devices on my network and it still works great. But my US friends have trouble using more than two devices at once and the speed is really slow. Cox sounds pretty great.

It's nice to see the DMCA have an actual purpose. That Cox is using the law to defend themselves from the very shills that demanded the DMCA only makes Cox's argument more delicious. Shadenfreude's a bitch, BMG.

Sony BMG are the same assholes who did the rootkit.

I'd like to laud them for the decision, but I'm thinking it's really just a matter of pragmatism instead of morality.

They'd lose more public support and it would be more work for them.

The first thing to do is turn off the judges and (maybe a few of his friends) internet connections on the grounds of suspected copyright infringement. Some people have to be hit with a brick until they learn how things really work.

Cox informs the court that these demands are overbroad, vague and possibly illegal.

How illegal is it now that the TPP has been signed?

There's going to be a lot of money flowing into judge's hands to make sure Cox don't win this one.
