It's just draconian corporate porn masquerading as legislation being rammed down the world's throat so their criminal enterprises can have the facade of legitimacy. "Look it's on paper it makes it okay for us to do it!"

It's so much more than that.

True, but they put it plainly and simply; and sadly, that's what it takes for the average person to understand the ramifications and possibly wake them up enough to give two shits.

That's crazy. I didn't know that was today, there were no protests or news articles or anything.

There have been protests for a week by my congressman's office, down the street from a major newspaper's headquarters. They've been completely ignoring it or threatening to arrest them if they don't leave.

I archive every post I do. Regardless of source. Some people cannot get to the regular link so I leave it as an option. If you look at my posting history you can see that I really do like techdirt and post a few article from them.

Not that it necessarily warrants archiving, but I really wish a blog site - a very opinionated one at that (lest you think I'm biased, I'm not especially into Breitbart either) wouldn't be submitted in favor of actual news sites.

The failure to provide a debate is "old news" and "it's time to move on". Typical liberal trick.

But the caucuses, and the superbowl, and ... oh look, a squirrel.

The iowa caucuses. It's all carefully orchestrated so when something that will cause the peasants to think about rising up happens, something light and dramatic is there to distract them and calm them down.
