People wonder how the government is able to get secret backdoors in so many software and technology products. This is how.

I've had occasional email correspondence with Ian over the years. There is absolutely no way I believe he committed suicide. I don't even think he threatened suicide. I think the cops had his phone and posted those tweets to create confusion over a murder they had already committed. The paperwork is equally falsified.

I don't think government assassination though. That would have been much cleaner. A heart attack out of nowhere. A fast acting cancer. A hacked car accident. No, I think Ian looked at a roided cop the wrong way and the cop just killed him. Because cops act with impunity these days.

It's a terrible tragedy. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and the entire Debian community.

You need evidence to make those claims stick.

[–] definitelynotabot 2 points 11 points (+13|-2) ago

thats why they won't stick. All the loose ends get tied up and it just looks like some rich white guy got drunk, pissed off the cops and killed himself.

Emotional and psychological symptoms of trauma:

Shock, denial, or disbelief

Anger, irritability, mood swings

Guilt, shame, self-blame

Feeling sad or hopeless

Confusion, difficulty concentrating

Anxiety and fear

Withdrawing from others

Feeling disconnected or numb

Physical symptoms of trauma:

Insomnia or nightmares

Being startled easily

Racing heartbeat

Aches and pains

Fatigue

Difficulty concentrating

Edginess and agitation

Muscle tension

He was quite clearly going through some sort of trauma, you can tell from his Tweets (https://archive.is/OPlI7) and we know for sure that he was arrested: https://i.sli.mg/70Vb7b.png

Now, this isn't necessarily evidence that he was raped and beaten by cops, but it does prove that something did indeed happen.

I originally typed that "someday someone I love will be robbed, hurt, destroyed, or even killed by the police and I will do nothing about it because I am afraid." But then I realized I didn't know enough about what happened to make such a conclusion and deleted it. I realized I never would know the truth just like with Michael Hastings so I made the corruption comment instead.

Who had an intoxicated breakdown. He did start off that whole rant of tweets by threatening to kill himself.

People just seem to love conspiracies.

[–] revofire 1 points 8 points (+9|-1) ago

How though? He doesn't seem to be off... he can form sentences and they make sense. The only thing now is to prove they really did happen. Otherwise, why write him off as crazy???

I know twitter is informal, but this is a CTO. I am having serious difficulty believing he tweeted these things. The writing is borderline incoherent.

Debian is one of the more endearing love stories coming from the technology world. The distro's name refers to himself and the woman, "Deb," he loved and later married. Deb + Ian. RIP.

He also claimed he was going to kill himself the entire time. The twitter mess started off with him saying that. So, I could believe an orchestrated hit, but probably not by the local PD.

edit I just wanted to add this in case it wasn't clear, but his twitter account wasn't just deleted right after those tweets went out. The guy (or someone, anyway) was communicating for awhile, including to another person at the time. I don't know how long it was before the account was deleted, but I saw the account a couple hours after his last tweet.

There are drugs that can convince a completely healthy target to do that. This for example is given to militants and suicide bombers mixed with other various opioids to induce extreme depression and indifference and violence.

The government agencies have been researching this since forever and probably have a whole spectrum of drugs that induce all sorts of effects.

His Twitter was deleted at around 9:59 PM on the 29th of December 2015 (GMT) (I was watching the whole thing unfold), which was a Tuesday which if we're to believe the official story, was already dead by then so someone else deleted his account.

So - suicidal (and vocal about it), paranoid, high-strung guy kills himself, police gets blamed anyway. Stay classy v/technology. It only lacks some "evidence" that Microsoft and Nvidia collaborated with PD to orchestrate that murder.

It's all well and good to believe that the cops did it (not saying they couldn't have or didn't) but his last tweets strike me as a man in deep psychosis. if he was mentally ill he could be having paranoid delusions. I'm undecided as of this moment but greater context about his mental health would help a lot. As would some official statements from the cops who arrested him (Not that the content of those statements will necessarily be of value but it'll help people sniff out bs)

http://www.networkworld.com/article/2949865/mobile-wireless/grooveshark-music-service-co-founder-josh-greenberg-dies-at-28.html

his death was suspicious at the time. Since then, the American controlled media has re-written history as it being a death "without suspicion of foul play".

At least the BBC has this to say:

"He was excited about potential new things that he was going to start," Mrs Greenberg said, adding that she did not believe he had any health concerns.

Funny, mainstream Ameircan news sources such as wikipedia and forbes won't mentioned that part.

Here's what wikipedia say instead:

The Gainesville Police Department stated during the preliminary investigation that neither foul play nor suicide was suspected in his death,[8] despite his dying from unknown reasons.

Based on his tweets he was beaten up twice. A female officer ripped off his underwear and sodomized him with a flashlight basically raping him. He was traumatized and ended up killing himself.

Except he did not post anything to his blog about it.

Either he killed himself, or someone else killed him and used his phone to make the tweets to look like he did it.

There are no details on how he died, there are no details on the police report or FBI file. Everything is quiet, too quiet.
