So if you have an expensive medical emergency and run out of money for treatment, what would you like to happen? Be left on the side of the road to die? Or would you go for free emergency room treatment?

In an ideal system, there should be private funds set aside by hospitals to allow them to provide medical aid to those who need it and can not afford it.

However, if I ran out of money, I would die. People die every day. I'm not worried about dying. It happens to everyone.

It's very noble of you to volunteer to be put down like a dog at a PETA rescue home, but what would you say to people who genuinely can't afford medical insurance but still want to live? Every other western country seems to have managed to solve that issue with either government provided or sensibly regulated private insurance, so why not America?
