Late post but here goes: I am grateful for his work, showing me what was compromised at the time that he leaked documents involving the NSA.

But @donkeyqong has a point though, he's (almost? or is) a celebrity at this point, more of a face than a person, and his leaks may even be outdated by now already. My problem is is that his likeness can be used to sell. Potentially his name could be used to sell compromised tools. We have to rely on more than just a single person for anonymity's sake. Privacy is bigger than single individuals, a community is needed. Yes Snowden has pulled significantly more than his weight but we shouldn't worship him.Yes he is qualified, he is more knowledgeable than most of us here about internet privacy. But I would also not depend on the Snowden or his leaks like the word of God.
