I haven't gotten my hands on 23 yet, but Fedora as a distro has been great. If you compare it to Ubuntu, it's a lot more lightweight while still being feature complete. Gnome 3 has improved greatly and it's a good desktop environment for task switching and window management. Fedora is kept very up to date as far as distros go (I think they release twice a year and provide updates in between). Just don't expect to use it for gaming, since it's an RPM distro and most games on Steam and GOG only support DEB based distros if they support Linux.

Just a follow up, I did get Fedora 23 installed on a laptop and it runs a bit faster than 22 did (which was already snappy to begin with). There are only a few minor UI improvements, but nothing too major. I'd recommend sticking with 22 until big repos like RPM fusion catch up with support for 23.
Edit: looks like RPM Fusion does support 23 after all!

Any fedora users able to share their experiences? Thinking of trying it out in the summer.
