If you x Ray someone without consent that's assault.

You have to sign a waiver before a technician would do it in a medical office.

Pregnant women and children are exempt from those devices at the airport.

If this is real, forget about the privacy issues--- this represents a serious public health issue: exposing people unwittingly to dangerous radiation.

You are more likely to get cancer from a screening at the airport than be killed by a terrorist.

Yeah, they just want to buy the x ray machines the military industrial complex is manufacturing and then forcing them to buy. That's all the government is for now, a puppet of corporations and billionaires, they don't care about the cattle's emotions.

I believe they have removed most, if not all, backscatter x-ray units from airports in favor of the millimeter wave units. Personally I haven't seen any of the backscatter units in quite a while. I can't comment on the health risks of the millimeter wave units, but I believe the backscatter units actually gave the TSA employees cancer. Interesting to think that a cancer on society got actual cancer.

Government entities just blindly becoming something the people don't want or never asked for. This all sounds like a civilization in decay to me.

Dear Club Members:

We have your children. 500K unmarked bills. No police.

Let me tell you about our future guest, Citizen Terrorist. He helps the haves, have not. I was really hoping he would not get invited, but he can't resist crashing these parties.

But the problem is that this information is only available to people who read. Most young people get there information from a comedian and "the informed" get it from watching news tv. So when you say the government is becoming something the people don't want do you not want something if you don't know enough about it to know that you don't want it.

It's not blind. It's very intentional.

Evil corrupt people have bought out the government and are using it to do evil corrupt things.

This isn't some accident that this thing wound up on an NYPD truck. These things aren't accidents.

Blindy, as in disregarding the sentiment of the people.

Blindly becoming? I think you give them too much credit for a lack of malice in their actions. They know exactly what they're doing.

"But you slippery slope purple are just being paranoid"

People who use the "slippery slope" argument are afraid to defend their own standpoint in that particular debate.

I've never been had problems defending it.

Not really, it's an established logical fallacy. Exposing a flaw in reasoning is a defence against someone's reasoning.

Edit: Ah, I fucked up, sorry guys: For some reason I read 6double5321's comment as people who use identification of the "slippery slope [fallacy]" as a rebuttal. Which, in most cases, is fine given a solid explanation around it. But I didn't realise he was saying that he has a problem with people who use the "slippery slope" argument... which of course is a fallacy meaning he is right and I agree with him and I made this whole issue up in my head fuck knows why.

Actually, that's a great idea. Find out where they have been deployed, and case the neighborhoods for people diagnosed with cancer

I don't see why cancer would be needed. This is not only possibly very dangerous but it is a complete invasion of privacy.

Rights anyone?
