And thus corporations are equally capable of the abuses we suffer under our current government. Dismantling the government isn't going to stop the corporate douche baggery, it just means the people now have one less tool to wield against the Corps.
How do you propose to keep lumber companies from destroying national parks without government enforcement? How are we to keep oil companies from causing enormous spills and then just leaving them there for nature to deal with? You Uber-Capitalists go on and on about how great everything would be in a pure capitalist society, and you ignore the fact that many of these regulations and governmental bodies exist precisely BECAUSE corporations have proven they can't be trusted to worry about anything other than profit.
Dismantling the government = what exactly? Electing a socialist? Because that would involve more government, not at all dismantling it. An anarchist would be for dismantling it, a socialist would do the exact opposite.
Lumber companies destroying national parks? I would probably have a law that required them too not cut on public land, and require that every tree they cut, they grow two more. These things I have just mentioned, already exist though. They have since the Roosevelt. How would electing a socialist help with something, that is a non-issue?
Oil spills being left for nature to deal w/? Hmmmm.... that doesn't sound like our current system. Remember the BP spill? How about all of our systems/laws that prevent it? Why would electing Bernie solve something, that is currently, not an issue.
Oh yes us uber-capitalist are pretty awful. If only there was some sort of vessel that could take you to China....... Do you live in the US currently? What exactly is keeping you here (other than to save us from ourselves, of course)? Travel is cheap, and it's even cheaper to live in China. Mandarin will come quickly!
