Here's some advice for those planning on buying it: if the phone's resolution is above 1080p, it's a gimmick.

The z5 compact almost seems like the perfect phone. Shame it'll take a million years to get marshmallow when it's out.

Yeah they are a bit slow at releasing updated firmware. On the bright side they do make it easy to unlock the bootloader albeit causing the loss of their optimized camera software. They do seem rather friendly to the open source moment releasing their kernels on github.

But the new one is 1.03% faster, and it has a fingerprint stealing sensor. Gotta buy it!

Seriously though... I too have gotten off of the bandwagon of cutting edge, as all this seems to be is a pissing match between facebook friends. Most of them have no clue whats new, or even if they did, they won't know how to use it.

Wish the compact was smaller. The z1c was 4.3", z5c is 4.6". I'd love to see a 720p 4" screen similar to the iphone 5 form factor.

The z5c has a bigger screen than the z1c but the phone is actually the same size. Smaller actually if you take thickness into account.

True I suppose, less bezel's always nice. Even so I'd still prefer a smaller form factor. Not a popular opinion I know.
