Why the fuck is this ALWAYS the fucking first answer to any w10 post?
I FUCKING GET IT! LINUX ÜBER ALLES!!
But you know what your post doesn't do? Answer the FUCKING QUESTION. More than that, it doesn't take into account anything about the user asking it. Me for example, I have plenty of reasons why I can't leave windows. From games (and before you say that there are Linux games, I FUCKING KNOW THAT. BUT NOT ALL), to data analysis programs I use in research that no *nix program can substitute.
And just for completion's sake. I also use Linux, as it's the os for the computer cluster I use in research
I did the same thing. I went to the download list and hid the download. It still comes up with the "schedule windows 10" at every boot up, but doesn't download it automatically.
This might help.

KB3015249 – adds more damn telemetry
KB3065987 – makes “improvements” to the windows update client (really just more Win10 bullshit)
KB3075249 – adds yet more telemetry

Smite doesn't work on Linux. Neither does a lot of Steam Games I play. Thus, no Linux for me.
