The legally recognized right to privacy is not very high, agreed.
Look at the degree of invasion of true privacy (not just the illegal kind) - like police knowing every occasion someone comes to or leaves your residence, whatever happens in your yard, and who is doing what. Together with all the phone tracking already going on. Welcome to the surveillance state.
I'm a privacy advocate, but we're not liberals here: nobody owes it to you to protect your privacy. That is your job. It's not the government's job to tell your neighbors not to look at you, or to outlaw them having cameras anywhere your property is in the field of view. If you don't want them to see, do something about it! Plant a hedge. Build a fence. Whatever.
