Yeah this is definitely bullshit. The latest patch includes one for the crypt32 module that fixes a certificate chain spoofing hole. Basically allowing anyone to make up a fake certificate and assure your computer that they are anyone they claim to be.

I switched to Linux years ago. Unless you've the need for proprietary software, you've no need for Windows

Ya, im leaving windows for linux, probably ubuntu, just wish it worked will with the cinnamon desktop : /
