I just said they're perfectly fine. They can replace commercial editors in many cases, but that's it. Just because what you do (if anything – judging by your ignorance on the topic), can be done equally good and fast in either gimp or PS, doesn't mean this applies to every raster/photo job there is. And yet you're on the internet preaching that gimp is a PS replacement – it aims high, it gets closer day by day, but it's not. People like you do more bad than good to free software.
