Maybe if they started supporting it, it wouldn't be just 2%, right? Maybe instead of viewing it as supporting just 2% you could view it as supporting all of their customers, and supporting their customers ability to have options.
At the very least they could make things much easier for users of Linux to come up with custom drivers. They refuse to even do that, in many cases going to lengths to increase the difficulty.
Anyways at the end of the day, we're the reason OEMs have. They don't care about us. They don't care about their consumer. Windows exists therefore their work is done. Bullshit.

The distro guys need to show an effort to gain customers, they aren't.
