Here's a short list that keeps me from using Linux predominately.. Fusion 360, Zbrush, Solidworks, and then video games. If I could CAD and 3D model, and play any video game on Linux I'd be there, long time ago.
This isn't a matter of "Linux can't do that". It's a matter of "I vendor locked myself into this specific software". You only have yourself (or your pointy haired boss) to blame for that.
I CAD and 3D model on Linux almost every day. Blender 2.10 is actually some really good software.
Added bonus: Linux GPU drivers are inherently unstable because they're usermode drivers (remember that black screen because driver didn't load? THIS IS WHY). Usermode drivers is the windows 9x model.
Linus openly stated the linsux team have no interest in fixing things like this.

Lol, your dick, so large. I did as well for some time in freecad, but have you used fusion 360? Shit is breath of fresh air in the CAD world.
And I highly doubt you spent any amount of time in Zbrush to understand how it trumps blender. I use blender almost daily btw....
edit: you sound like me from a decade ago, when I was a wee lad, and convinced I could do everything better in Linux.

So would just about everyone else.

Interesting. So basically Linux will never be a proper desktop OS. The most it can aspire to is for people to tolerate it.
