That would be nice, but you still need a textarea backup plugin for any site you submit text to. Obviously you can live without it, ideally by typing into locally saved files, but that adds tons of organizational overhead time...
Humanity has lost many priceless pages of my wisdom because something went wrong before I hit Submit. 🙄

Scroll down to the top of the readme for link to the evil Scroogle Store (Voat won't allow it here). Or download the ZIP, extract, and, from the ≡ menu go "More Tools" -> "Extensions" -> "Load Unpacked".
Firefox had great textarea recovery plugins (ex Lazarus) for over a decade, but this is the first good one I found for Chromium.
