They're a private company built by other people they don't owe you or anyone jack shit. It's incredibly childish and frankly pathetic for you to expect them to give you free range of speech on their site. It's theirs asshole, don't like it then don't use it. I truly have nothing but contempt for your kind - complaining about them censoring or limiting your speech on their platform which they made.

The only flaw with this logic is that their entire enterprise is funded by data mining and users like you!

But dont take my word for it, BA DON DON!

This. If you feel you have an audience for your "censored" views, which is usually y'all not being able to reign your filthy mouths or follow basic rules, stop whining and do it.

“They are a Private Company and as long as they follow a million State, Federal, and Stock Exchange Laws, they can do what they want and there is nothing we can do about to regulate them...” What fucking hypocritical left wing authoritarians say.

Free speech and the 1st amendment are different things. The ideal of free speech is something we should all strive for while the 1st amendment restricts the government from infringing said speech. If a company or person censors, that's not a violation of the 1st, but it is a violation of free speech. Never mind that most of these companies are practically part of the government themselves.

Edit:

What fucking hypocritical left wing authoritarians say.

Yes, in this very thread. It's a reply to the top comment of course.

Saying they shouldn't be able to moderate their own platform is the authoritarianism. They own it.

Good, honestly. People can see the tech giants openly acting against the president, it's not a conspiracy.

You just contradicted yourself.

Something which is good for his campaign is NOT “acting against”...

It's good only because his supporters are too stupid to realize that Trump does nothing to defend them. Any other group of people would realize that their leader is worthless, at best, and abandon him.

I'm waiting for the day when T_D goes from quarantine to outright banned. You know it's coming.

Welp, I guess that's it. Three million people will no longer be voting for Trump now that one FB page was deleted.

Well done FB, well done.

Game over.

This, plus they cut off a huge part of pro Trump news and memes people get. You say whatever now but months down the road people may get more distant and less connected.

Pretend Voat + your other favorite forum got shut down and imagine it's impact.

I know that Silicon Valley's bias in politics is a big deal here, and rightfully so, but they also have a really big and largely ignored related ethical issue at play when it comes to them banning completely normal business pages and groups.

Random, normal businesses, say some shop that sells plain men's ties or whatever, can spend thousands on Facebook or Google ads, build up a following, and then one day wake up and find out their page is shutdown and deleted. Was it the algorithm? Was it some random Indian quality control person who has having a bad day and wanted to take it out on whitey? Was it a competitor falsely reporting you for illegal content or something or clicking your ads intentionally? Did the algorithm make a mistake? You can never find out an issue because these big corporations make it impossible to find out what the issue is and contact a real human. The best you can do is get a form-letter response from some Indian who may or may not even be a real person. Thousands of small American businesses go from thriving and hiring to dead and buried overnight when this happens, there's no recourse, and basically nobody in the media ever talks about it. Literally your only options are to try and go to Reddit/HackerNews and try and get a popular thread going. That's the only way to get a human to look at things.

Their customer service and other business practices are completely shameful. Shady thug drug dealers provide better customer service. In this particular story, Facebook is willing to take $100k of their ad money, but then banned them. How crazy is that? This is a repeated story that happens thousands of times to normal businesses. Journalists who have zero experience in business don't understand what is going on and aren't interested in writing about it apparently.

On the one hand, what are you going to do about it besides cry like a bitch?

On the other hand, who gives a fuck. Fuck Donald Trump and all his traitor buddies in politics.
