Hey there lads, sorry for all my niggardly questions about tech. I'm pretty useless when it comes to computers. Try to be a capable man not a leech, and contribute lots more to my favorite site. In fact, I'm planning a big series of instructional video tutorials on homesteading skills, accompanied by my library documents of how our ancestors used to thrive, plus tips from modern folks on adjusting to what is no longer available etc.
But in the case of tech, I'm sadly a leech on you kind folks! Could anyone please help me out with how to download from bitchute? I tried reading up and it seems like the site doesn't use normal video embedding? Its a torrent maybe? Can anyone confirm if I'm on the right track there? How would one go about getting them for offline viewing? Going off the grid one day is the goal but I want a collection of music, redpills, entertainment, and skill tutorials to entertain and teach myself and my kids!
I've always been wary of torrents, its probably irrational but it scares me since I don't understand much. Rather than being on the sites server, its on peers computers and you download it from those seeders, and that also scares since they could give viruses. Is there a safe way to do this? Sorry for being illiterate with this stuff! I will return the favor of any help with my skill videos to come and access to my cache of data! Cheers lads!

When I went to the site, its for firefox and there isn't a download button, where it would normally be instead just tries to download firefox instead. Is there an alternate place to download other than the firefox ad on page? Or do I need to do it through firefox then somehow get it on my real browser?

It is an add-on for Firefox. Waterfox is a fork of Firefox without all of the crap.
There is a Chrome version, but I don't use Chrome. I'm sure it is the same.
Those are the only browsers supported.
You can install Waterfox, install the add-on and only use it to download Bitchute videos.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I use waterfox, but the page for the ad on has a download button but it won't download unless I first download firefox
