Dust is a motherfucker and can kill indirectly kill your components. If you haven't broken out your screwdriver and gutted your rig in a while, it's time to do it. Check your filters and your fan blades. If you haven't ever opened up a computer, you should kill yourself.
Keep your shit running cool and it'll treat you nice. If you don't treat your shit right, it won't treat you right and you'll literally pay the price for it.
If you don't own a computer and solely use a phone for the internet, refer back to my comment about those who have never opened a computer.

But my laptop is really difficult to open. Like it wasn't even designed for it. Should I kill myself too?

Yes but not near the laptop since it could make it dirtier.

I can assure you that there is a way. Trust me, I once worked in a computer repair shop.

If you can't open your laptop, yes, you should kill yourself. Is it hard because you have to use a pry tool?
I guarantee you, your laptop was designed to be opened.

Thanks for the tip about the dust.
Not for the "kill myself" suggestion though. Here's the obligatory retort: I will survive.

These are only recommendations. I cannot force anyone to do anything from my post. Good luck friendo.

With a strong detergent and hot water?

I had success with a brillo pad and spit shine on the CPU pins.
