You didn't cite any advantages not shared with ESR.

  1. Upon my cursory reading, they cited no advantages over ESR in the blog post.
  2. ESR allows the disabling of all telemetry via configuration scripts
  3. uBlock origin still functions nicely on my install. In addition, Greasemonkey, which doesn't function on waterfox, runs perfectly.

This may be moot though, as it appears they are phasing out 52 ESR in favor of 60, which is the Quantum release. Nevermind.

Yeah, disable one option that prompts during install. It doesn’t phone home. Questions?
