Not into drugs and never have been, but the extremes they go to in order to catch, and penalties they levy against users, are insane. Sure, bust the high profile dealers, but average users should never spend years in jail.

It is like the ban on prostitution. They're overstepping their bounds when they tell people what we're allowed to put into our bodies, and whether or not we are allowed to pay for sex, because they want us to end up in a sham of a marriage that falls apart in under a decade, like >50% of them do, as that is both a huge revenue generator for the establishment, and many religious fanatics believe that they have the natural right to tell the rest of us how we live. People are free to practice whatever religious beliefs they want, but the moment they start imposing those artificial constructs onto me is when I call them fanatics.

Legalize and regulate prostitution, like civilized countries do. And while you're at it, legalize and regulate drugs too, at least the ones that aren't extremely destructive. Not my problem (or right to tell) people what they can put in their bodies. But yeah, I personally have no interest in taking the shit
