Just to start things off.
Back in the early twentieth century, the United States illegalized alcohol. Long story short, mafioso took over major functions of government and then police, before alcohol was legalized again.
It seems to me that the same has now happened with 'drugs,' except much worse.
What does Voat think about this?

It's a federal jobs program for cops. On the other hand, it encourages drug dealers to rob each other instead of the general public.
