Why? They keep saying "spying" but that's every device, and the previous claim that it was reporting usage and data was dispelled in independent testing.

This reeks more and more of Apple and Samsung trying to prevent competition in the United States.

Huawei is a branch of Chinese Intel. I can't say more without a dox but it has been proven. Ask yourself why they set up shops with free or discounted phones next to US bases.

This dude is a slanty eyed nigger trying to deflect. It's a fucking distraction. He refuses to differentiate between the US government and Chinese government as if they are the same entity and aren't actually each other's adversaries. His argument is seriously"I don't know why the US government would want to stop spy devices controlled by a communist dictatorship out of the US". Look at the downvoat upvoats, It's almost 100 percent certain there are PLA glow in the darks in this thread. He's a fan of the free market meanwhile huawie president Ren Zhengfei is a high level member of the communist party of China. Not only that huawie directly receives subsidies from the communist Chinese government in exchange for the obvious intelligence purposes of the devices and to bolster their position against Western rival phone manufacturers.

I like it. Ban them for spying, then when people point out that google etc is doing it too, bring the antitrust hammer.

He already fined ZTE after helping "save" them https://money.cnn.com/2018/05/13/technology/business/trump-zte-corporation-china-commerce/index.html

Huawei was always a tough cookie to crack because they're way more capable than other manufacturers and cheaper. I looked at them for GPON services after seeing lots in datacenters of our competitors. But their sales offices are almost all PO boxes with personal gmail accounts. I had a lot of 404 errors navigating their site, especially contact pages. So I never really thought they were with investing in

Were you trying to project my opinion? What in my comment made you think that was the point in my response?
