"we" is anyone who continues to support and use Google services despite knowing what they do. Including myself, unfortunately, but I'm working on it.

I also prefer news that doesn't gaslight me.

Here's the thing a friend said when we were in high school, that stands true today... "what are you willing to do about it?"

Most of you couldn't be bothered to sign a petition. Rather than get your hopes up and spend 1 minute to register that you want change, you dismiss any inkling of changing ever occurring.

I started an ISP but got nowhere getting into residential services. Its not cost it's government. There's literally laws preventing 20 states from running their own networks. Even with those laws and billions in broadband initiatives there's no one getting in. But will people do anything, no, they just want things to complain about and play the victim. Just like niggers, you just want a reason to feel sorry for yourselves.

Google isn’t the company that we should have handed the Web over to | Ars Technica

'With Chrome, Firefox, and Edge all as going concerns, a fair amount of discipline is imposed on Web developers. ', "With Microsoft's decision to end development of its own Web rendering engine and switch to Chromium, control over the Web has functionally been ceded to Google."

'By relegating Firefox to being the sole secondary browser, Microsoft has just made it that much harder to justify making sites work in Firefox. ', "Google is already a company that exercises considerable influence over the direction of the Web's development."

'Google AMP ("Accelerated Mobile Pages") is a cut-down HTML combined with Google-supplied JavaScript designed to make mobile Web content load faster. '

Some typical lefty bullshit. Google has way too much power, but saying "we" handed Google all this power, and made the wrong choice in giving control of the internet to the wrong company is painful to read. No company should have that much power over the internet.

not any company was 'handed' the internet, but it seems many migrated to google for the search engine and features google had initially. it doesn't really matter which company became as powerful as google did because the (((j00s))) would infiltrate it, take it over and infect it like everything else (((they))) have done in the past ....forever.

No company should have that amount of power. Even if it wasn't converged it would have been just because of the money and power involved. Look at what happened to Linux as an example of how invasive sjw and Jew Poz can destroy something.
