I use AdSense on my own site, but I've never bought any ads through their AdWords program. Reading this article made me wonder exactly how Google handles such a case. If Apple can buy an ad for any term they wish, then what would stop a malicious company from using lots of money to effectively "steal" traffic from any trademarked term they wish?

According to their own rules page, "Google will not investigate or restrict the use of trademark terms in keywords, even if a trademark complaint is received." From the looks of it, the company that owns "iWatch" won't win this case.
