I have, and then i realized theres a lot of things i just cant do on linux so i never switched.

If you have a list of things I might be able to help you find alternatives. I still use Windows on my desktop due to the games I play not working on Linux (and just PITA difficulties in installing Linux on it due to hardware) but I have moved from closed source Windows only to open source and cross-platform programs as much as possible since i use mainly Linux on my laptop. I may have already found alternative to some things for you, other than games and the possibility that you have to have a very particular program no matter what.

Yeah, like run popular mainstream software. Linux is a bootleg OS.

You can run most windows programs directly in wine under linux. for everything else, there is a virtual machine.
