That means no new "patches". The shit they've rolled out passed 2017 has been more damaging than malware (win10 shit they tried doesn't help either but it didn't usually cause BSOD or MAKE security holes exactly like the one they were going to "fix").

It's kind of difficult to infect a properly done machine. Browser+script blocker+adblocker and they should be fine. Make sure they know how to use the script blocker so they don't just disable it to make a site with 2938548475 domains load the one thing they wanted to work.
