Wow, fuck Alex Stamos.

He wants browsers to drop support for Flash and prevent users from having it? That's fucking gay. What about webgame sites like Kongregate? He wants thousands of games made over a decade to just be rendered unplayable? Just.. fuck all the hard work that went into them.. Hell, what would run all of his shitty Facebook games?.. Unity?.. Fuck Unity. The god damn webplayer doesn't even work on my system, not to mention that Chrome is already removing compatibility with it.

If anything, I'd rather see it moved to open source and slowly fade, rather than just be ripped out of everyone's hands and scoured from the web.

you're entire argument for keeping flash is that "we've already made stuff in it, and there are tons of flash games" Sorry bud, but no, that's not enough to make it worthwhile to have a permanent security risk.

Until there is a secure alternative that also works with preexisting/future flash content, Adobe is going to stick around.

It's selfish to cry for Flash's death. If you don't want it, don't install it.
