https://voat.co/help/useragreement

indemnity section

Specifically, you agree to hold Voat, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and third party service providers harmless [all fines levied and court costs are paid by YOU, any conceivable harm you are to correct] from and defend them [oh look, YOU buy our lawyer thanks] against any claims, costs, damages, losses, expenses, and any other liabilities, including attorneys’ fees [this vague language means ANY attorney, the most pricey one in the world if we feel like it] costs

If you see a contract irl, always read the indemnity, strike through the "defend" part under all circumstances, or at least throw in a "reasonable attorney fees", and decide if you really want to agree up front that you'll pay for all damages even up to and including "gross negligence" on their part.

content section

you retain the rights to your copyrighted content or information that you submit to Voat ("user content") except as described below.

By submitting user content to Voat [poems manifestos descriptions of your upcoming patent user artwork all IntellectualProperty etc] you grant us a royalty-free [sweet!] perpetual [thanks], irrevocable [awww so sorry you can't unfuck yourself] non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide license to reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute copies, perform, or publicly display your user content in any medium and for any purpose [cha-Ching!!!] including commercial purposes, and to authorize others to do so.

@puttitout must know how bullshit this is, why he leaves it in is any ones guess, but Jews gonna Jew......

Every site is like that. Reddit's is just longer and has even more terms.
