Asshole, I'm at lunch and laughed at that. Almost a rude moment.

Thanks for the laugh.

Definitely still looking like a way to coerce people into aligning with your own principles. I've been telling people for years, but they just don't care

This is Microsoft saying "Hey we're going to read ALL your private Skype messages (a la Facebook) to make sure you're not sharing nude pics. If you are sharing nude pics, we will view them, save them, and then ban you."

They are also saying: fuck you silly consumer, we don't respect the Bill of Rights. We also don't respect you or your dumb fucking content.

"Reading" through the audio-book now. Actually enjoying it, which is strange for any "recommended" book.

When you finish "reading" it, give The Gulag Archipelago a go. 1984 is a fiction, but TGA is very very real, and it's what you can expect if leftists get their way.

I'm about 80% of the way through "reading" it, and just when you read something that makes you lose all faith in humanity, it gets worse.

If you use these products you deserve the fucking you get.

Anyone seeing all the business opportunities opening up in tech thanks to these idiots? Are they trying to short their own stock or are they really this stupid?

Voat is the harbinger of things to come. Really and truly, it makes no sense letting your mods treat users like kids and nannying them. It's just a recipe for disaster, no one likes that.

[–] drj2 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

What if the plan is to short these stocks and look back saying wow look what tech stocks looked like under trump?

0

[–] matthew-- 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

I don't think that would work, because you could always point to the other tech stocks that rise to take their place.

Although the stock market is incredibly inflated as companies have nowhere to park their money, so they just keep buying back their own stocks.

[–] McFluffy 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago  (edited ago)

we will point to these stupid decisions that they made and show everyone else that it was not trump that caused these stocks to fall.

then again, trump could very well be the last president the USA ever gets, as afterwards we will probably end up with an emperor when they try to assassinate "the next trump."

Heh, Microsoft painting themselves in to a catch-22. We all know they'll follow the liberal motto of, "rules for thee but not for me".

That's what the TOC's - that everyone scrolls though without ever reading - are for.

Other than that, very clever.
