Fucking Microsoft shill.

Linux Mint is easy peasy and usually just works with a fresh install.

You don't even need to install, just run it off a disc or USB.

  1. What distribution / version?
  2. What hardware?
  3. You don't need the terminal for most Linux programs.
  4. Flash IS shit, and a security nightmare. That's why Apple dropped it.
  5. Office 365 has a web interface.
  6. So does Google docs.
  7. So buy a console or keep a Windows partition for games.
  8. The Linux community is pretty tight. Shit isn't even close to perfect, and we know it. But you don't just roll up with a stack of complaints and expect a positive reaction. The attitude you put in is the attitude you get back.

Now, if you're honestly interested in gaming on Linux, and can't deal with the frustration of setup/hardware, just buy an alienware steam machine. If you just want a reasonable laptop, get a Dell XPS. If you want a balls out rig, go for system76.

There's your options, none of them involve setup or driver headaches.

Linux has its benefits, but those cultists just can't be objective anymore. THIS IS THE ONE TRUE GOD. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY. WE'VE BEEN SENT A SIGN FROM HEAVEN AND WE ARE GOODNESS AND LIGHT.

LibreOffice is a huge piece of shit.

If you actually run Linux, you would know this is not true. But since you are a (paid) microsoft shill, you will never know.

Its like this. Instead of people just using the old windows, they got hardons for new ones using words like security and compatibility. When windows burnt their dicks they got pissed and here we are. Every time I mention windows XP to anyone Im like a demon that needs to be banished. Fuck you guys. For years my house has had windows XP and its had ZERO of the problems of windows 7 and above and all I had to do was set up a firewall CORRECTLY.

I like linux though.

Honestly, if XP would work on my new computer I would still be using it.

Yeah, I thought that would be a problem too, but so far I have only had issues with some things like my a logitech mouse which I couldnt install the software for. But the mouse still worked anyway. 64 bit seems to make it a lot easier. Graphics cards go on about not being able to install on XP but I've managed to bypass every check, install the drivers myself and works fine.

But the next question needs to be asked, why do you even need new computers? (aside from exploding ones). My kitchen computer is more than 10 years old.
