The newest intel CPU currently confirmed to be unaffected is the original pentium.

Pentium Pro onwards is potentially vulnerable.

Is this why John Titor needed the IBM 5100?

I have 3 pentium 1s in my garage. $500 each. Good deal, good deal....

Too new. The only good Pentiums are the 60/66/90, and the 75/100/133. Maybe the MMX 133/166/200/233

After that point the Pentium Pro basically lives on in everything else.

I'll take an FX or Phenom.

I was posting elsewhere betting it was the 'advanced features of the Pentium Pro' onward that were fucked up.. I hate it when I'm right. although it makes my $50 purchase of a 386 looking all the smarter!

Or you could just buy AMD.
