Did you use to run a Bitcoin mining pool ? Your name is familiar for some reason.

I did not. I pulled this username from the Greek word for Liberty. According to Victor David Hanson, it is the first time the word had ever been verbally conceptualized.

I really love Peter Thiel. I just could not give less of a fuck if hes a dick sometimes. The world needs people who stand up for what they believe.

TechCrunch is corrupt and should be archived in the OP. It doesn't deserve our support. Please keep this in mind for future posts.

Oculus founder Palmer Luckey is developing border surveillance technology | TechCrunch

'Now Luckey, who sold his VR company Oculus to Facebook for $2 billion in 2014, is back, and his new company is concerned with national security. '

'We need a new kind of defense company, one that will save taxpayer dollars while creating superior technology to keep our troops and citizens safer. '

'Already, the company — which is located in Southern California — has hired “a handful” of staff, including former Oculus employee Christopher Dycus. '

'Luckey confirmed the outline of his new venture in a statement to the Times:We are spending more than ever on defense technology, yet the pace of innovation has been slowing for decades. '

'The New York Times reports that his newest business venture uses lidar technology — commonly used in self-driving cars — for surveillance on country borders or high-level sites such as military bases. '

This has been an automated message.

Last time we heard from Palmer Luckey, the one-time poster boy for VR, he was quietly ousted from Facebook after a $100,000 donation to a pro-Trump “shitposting” group came to light.

Talk about fake news and shitposts, how many verifiable lies does this one TechCrunch article have?

Luckey donated $100,000 to the presidential inauguration. What's wrong with that. He donated $10,000 not $100,000 to Nimble America, which TechCrunch is falsely labeling a "shitposting" group. And he voted for Gary Johnson, so he's not even a Trump supporter.

What's true is Facebook fired him for his politics after acquiring his innovative technology and company. Because Facebook is a shit company run by a lying sociopathic turd.

The "Wall" is a scam...if they really wanted to keep illegals out of America they would simply enforce the laws that are on the books already, and stiffen the penalties for sneaking into the country - 5 years (mandatory minimum) at hard labor would do the trick. There wouldn't be an illegal to be found anywhere in the US!

Hard labor makes a lot of sense. Giving non citizens the same rights as citizens makes no sense, but I think this countries demographics are a long way from recognizing that ideologically.

The "wall" is nothing but a scam...if I were facing 5 years at hard labor for sneaking into the US I sure as shit wouldn't do it. No one in their right mind would.

Palmer Luckey is a lying sack of shit. He made so many promises about the Oculus and then he turned around and gave us a big fuck you and got Facebook to back him. I wouldn't trust him with this.

$2 billion dollars, if it was you, you would lube up your ass in no time. Besides, the vive is better.

I honestly can not say if I would or would not, it doesn't excuse the fact what he did was really shitty. If I ever do get a VR I will absolutely go with the Vive.
